Comments (82): got a new cd rom today, this image booted just fine. • I take my last comment back. It appears as if my cdrom is borked (guess thats what i get from using one that was manufactured in 1998..) • I just downloaded, image it did not contain a boot partition. I repeat this is not a bootable image. • Saviorx, Use the call microsoft method of activation and just tell them you reinstalled windows. • Did not activate for me. I used a Home OEM key off a vaio laptop to install this. Installed fine. Accepted key. But FAILS activation. Would like a legit way of activating, but looks like i need to get a crack? I didn't know XP came in 64, can someone please confirm this? • I don't see any files in "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Drivers" if I try to open them in some progrema (PSPad for instance) I can access that folder by explorer and see all files, but it is named different :"C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers" (no caps on drivers). If I try to drag some file on PSPad, it ask me if I want to create that file, and I can. Obviously there are two different folders but the main one is somehow restricted. (I am administrator) Whats up and how can I access that folder without restrictions please ? • I've installed this, working fine. Just have to install your own drivers if needed.
