Comments (113): i need help i can not make my mac go on the net • Leo is out now, and if anybody wants help, look me up @ Www.insanelymac.com my user is Think Mark • Then I boot from the DVD it freeses with a Cernel Panic, what do I have to do? • For 10.4.x Install Dvds: 1) Use partition magic or other partition software such as Acronis's suite or another partitioning program to resize a PRIMARY partition so that you have at least 10 Gigs of unallocated space. Then create a 10 gig PRIMARY fat32 partition. 2)Put in your installation dvd. Reboot you computer. 3) Go into the utilities menu at the top of your screen once you have booted off of the DVD and go into the disk utility, (wait a few seconds or up to a minute for it to load) 4) Take the fat32 partition you just created and format it as mac os extended. 5) Exit the disk utillity 6) Hit next and agree with the license agreement. 7) Customise your installation. 8) If you have an intel computer select the intel packages and if you have an AMD computer select the AMD pack

Comments (18): Would install in macbook 4.1 2.4 gh ???? • Can I use this on Powerbook G4 17 inch.? thanks • worked on macbook 2,1, awesome work bro, i was pulling my hair out when i couldnt get 10.5.5 to go on it after wiping hd, will seed • Oh and another thing, don't let it "verify your installation DVD" it may want you to "insert disk 2" which means you're pooched and have to start over. • Worked like a charm on a (2006) MacBook Intel Core Duo. Tips: There are 7 installation steps. On the fourth step "Installation Type" click "Customize" and uncheck everything you can. The "Essentials" is all you need and you can't uncheck it anyway. Install is complete in under 20 minutes and then you can update from "Software Updates" in the apple menu. A++ upload, SkinnyNGO. • Thanks for the share !!!
